1927 NHL Offseason
Eddie Shore takes home the Hart trophy in his first season in the NHL. Quite the year for
Shore. MVP, Stanley Cup birth. He’s well on his way to being what he was in real life!
Here are the awards for the 1926-27 NHL Season
John Ross Roach set what looks like a unbeatable record this year. 19 shutouts from the
Leafs goalie.
Roach actually had 15 shutouts last year, and is now the all-time leader, even though there isn’t a lot of history yet. He played 44 games this season, so, that’s (takes out calculator) 43 percent!
Here are the NHL all-stars for the season…
No rule changes to the world of hockey this year. Everything will remain the same!
The
Rangers have hit the lottery. The first overall pick is
Charlie Conacher, who has the ability to be the best player in hockey one day.
Conacher is a power forward who dominated in real life. I actually loved reading about
Charlie, and am excited he’s in the league. The
Rangers have a piece to build around.
Red Horner going 2nd is a very strong pick for the
Maroons. He can be a top player at any position. Here are the draft results.
