Coyotes C Mike Riberio (7.5b/7.5b) also scored twice, and the Yotes had 3 PP tallies in the losing effort.

DAL - 1 WPG - 3 If there wasn't bad blood before this game - there is now! Hooking, holding, roughing and various cheap shots finally boiled over into a early third period heavyweight match between DAL Antoine Roussel and WPG Zach Bogosian who went at it for almost three minutes before refs were able to separate the two. The teams still hacked and tripped each other right to the final buzzer and glares were plentiful as the refs stayed on the ice til the teams retired to their respective locker rooms.
NJD - 2 CAL - 4 Defense was definitely an afterthought tonight at the Scotiabank Saddledome arena. NJ fired 41 shots in the contest to Calgary's 39 shots and CAL RW David Jones (6.5c/6.5c) had a goal and an assist to pace the winners. NJ fell to 2 - 3 on the season and Calgary improved to 3 - 2.

FLA GM /Coach Bonehead Moore made an offer sheet to EDM listing RW Scottie Upshall (6.5a/6.5a) in trade for RW Ales Hemsky.(7.0c/7.0c) No reply so far from EDM GM Craig MacTavish.
