Nothing of note happened in the first three innings.

In the top of the fourth, Porter caught Harrah stealing. It was the tenth base stealer thrown out by Porter this season.

In the top of the fifth, Dent scored from second on a throwing error by Auerbach on a groundball by Suarez with two out. Nelson then brought Suarez home with a double. Maddox scored Nelson with a single as the Rangers got three unearned runs in the inning.

Rain began to fall in the top of the sixth.

And led to a rain delay of 23 minutes in the bottom of the sixth. When play resumed, Monday brought Porter home for a single for his 10th RBI of the season.

After six: Texas 3 Milwaukee 1.

Harrah led off the top of the eighth with a home run. Mangual added his first RBI of the season on a sacrifice fly. Kubiak then added a two run homer for the Rangers 10th hit of the game. That was all she wrote for Lonborg as Skip Lockwood took the mound with two outs in the inning.
