Born in Dallas, Texas, Banks was the 2nd born of 12 children. The Detroit Tigers will finish out the season without LF Willie Horton. The 27 year old is expected to miss up to 2 months. Horton is hitting .298 with 28 HRs and 92 RBIs in 97 games.
