I got a message from SABR this evening regarding the "Phil Hennigan" image in Braves70's post quoted above. The player in question is apparently not J
im Braxton, who like Hennigan was not left-handed. Several photos of Braxton are available in Amazin69's post in the minor league thread
here. Braxton wore #50 while with the Indians during spring training 1970 and the mystery player wore #51. If anyone has a 1970 Indians spring training roster or program I'm sure we can figure out exactly who it is.
