Hello and thank you for this exciting new game

How do you make the changes in player roles to "stick"? In the player info screen it shows correctly, but in the team contract screen player roles remain unchanged.

Also does the player role affect the way the assistant uses them when I let him choose line up and tactics? At this moment my assistant prefers a player with normal role and 4.5 CA to a player with back up role and 7.0 CA.
