Wilson "Slack" Martin
Slack Martin was a true utility man, holding the following positions in the Negro Leagues: outfield, first base, pitcher, catcher, and third base. During the 4-year span of 1925-28, he was with the Indianapolis ABC's, Detroit Stars, Dayton Marcos, and Washington Potomacs. This photo is the only one I've found of him thus far, and it certainly provides little facial detail. It is from the Bakersfield Californian of March 18, 1946, and shows him with the San Francisco Sea Lions Afro-American baseball team.
