Sam Brison was a shortstop and "clown prince" with the Indianapolis Clowns after having entered the Negro Leagues in 1958 with the Birmingham Black Barons. His career with the Clowns lasted for fifteen years as the Clowns became more and more of a barnstorming team.

The photo on the left is from the blog of Kevin L. Mitchell at thebaseballscroll.blogspot.com. The card on the right is a 1976 Laughlin Indianapolis Clowns issue. The card below the other two is from a set commemorating the movie "The Bingo Long Traveling All-Stars." Brison was among the cast in that movie.
