Just kidding I was trying to make a joke, obviously poorly. There is no benefit to stacking a team. On another note I am still have free agents appear from nowhere in my league about a dozen at the end of every regular season. The ones that appear always debut in real life the next year. For example I just finished 1916 regular season and about 12 guys whose rookie MLB year was 1917 come into the FA pool day after 1916 season ends.
