PREDATORS YEAR IN REVIEW

It was a tough year for the Predators who would finish in the bottom five for the third straight year with 74 points. However, there were positives to take away from the year. The farm system appears stronger than it has been in recent years with the Predators ECHL affiliate finished 41-20-7, a record which was second best in the ECHL. Unfortunately, the Milwaukee Admirals of the AHL had a dismal season finishing with just 60 points - second worst in the AHL. At the NHL level, the Predators got good seasons out of young prospects Sean Day, Jammu Parkkonen, and Ed Sharp who the Predators hope will become part of a winning core years down the line. Nicklas Backstrom, Rick Nash, and Filip Forsberg were among some of the veterans who played solid hockey in Nashville this past season. The Predators will look to build upon this past season to put together a better 2022-2023 season.

Team MVP: Nicklas Backstrom
