NCAA: The Auburn Tigers lifted their first NCAA Championship Trophy at the conclusion of their 9-0 victory over the Washington State Cougars. With 3B Jason Spears declaring for the MLB Draft at the conclusion of the season, Auburn will need to hit the recruiting trail hard if they hope for a repeat next season.

Benoit was tough on hitters all season long, as they only put up a .244 batting average against him.
