2069 Season (MLB Awards)

2069 AL Boyce Rigg Award (MVP): 2B Rich Hamilton (4-Time Winner, Golden State Warriors, 27, 143rd overall pick out of Maryland in 2062). All season long Rich Hamilton gave opposing pitchers fits by hitting .309 as he collected 168 hits, 19 doubles, no triples, 24 home runs and 74 RBIs.

2069 NL Boyce Rigg Award (MVP): CF P.J. Trudell (4-Time Winner, St. Louis Rams, 28, 3rd overall pick out of Binghamton in 2062). If St. Louis doesn't shell out some big dollars for this center fielder, somebody else will. He finished the season with 163 hits, 28 doubles, 2 triples, 28 home runs and 93 RBIs, hit .293 in 156 games and scored 108 runs.

2069 AL Vic Pacheco Award (Top Pitcher): SP Steve Unger (Houston Dynamo, 33, 29th overall pick out of Pitt in 2057). With a record of 18-10, Unger was certainly a worthy winner. He made 32 starts and rang up 243.1 innings, 258 strikeouts and a 3.37 ERA.

2069 NL Vic Pacheco Award (Top Pitcher): SP Landon Sampson (San Francisco 49ers, 24, 33rd overall pick out of Kentucky in 2067). Sampson compiled a 17-4 record in 33 starts, tallied 264 strikeouts in 225.2 innings and recorded a 2.31 ERA. Other clubs managed only a .219 batting average against him.
