First, have the game make a balanced schedule for 8 games per opponent, no interleague, 4 game series. This is 120 games and export the schedule to a file.
Open this schedule in notepad and save it again with some other name.
Go through this schedule and delete all the games that do NOT have both teams between 1-4, 5-8, 9-12, 13-16, 17-20, 21-24, 25-28, 29-32. So, for example, if 1 and 7 are paired, delete it because both teams are not between 1 and 4. After deleting all the non-division games, add 133 to all "game day=" . Copy this when done.
Now, load your first schedule, (in notepad) and paste your 2nd schedule to it. Edit the first line to be:
ILN_BGN_G144_SL1D4T4T4T4T4SL2D4T4T4T4T4" inter_league="0" balanced_games="0" games_per_team="144"
Save and you are ready to play.
Obviously, using a spreadsheet makes the edits trivial, the hard part is importing your results into notepad. I have never figured out how to make a schedule without the final product being in notepad.
