Very cool . . . I'm thinking about doing something similar, but tweaking some things, like basing which cities get teams on actual population (city population through the 1940s, metro area population from the 1950s on, when radio, TV and easy day-to-day travel became relevant to the team's market, etc.).
Still debating whether or not to try to keep players with their real teams or not too. Would love to do something with independent minor leagues and promotion/relegation but still trying to figure out how to do that.
Anyway, it's cool to see your league at work. Good luck with it.
