May 22 - Milwaukee lost SP Dan Morrell (31-R) for the season with a shoulder injury. He was 5-2 with a 2.88 ERA.
May 24 - SS/1B Paul Blaine (24-R) of Seattle had 3 hits with 2 home runs and a walk, scored 3 runs and had 6 RBI at Denver. Seattle won, 13 to 1.
May 24 - LF Tom Bolstad (32-L) of Chicago had 4 hits with a home run, scored 4 runs and had 2 RBI at Philadelphia. The Cubs won, 13 to 5.
May 24 - RF Gary Larson (27-L) of Baltimore had 4 hits with 2 doubles, scored 2 runs and had 4 RBI at Cleveland. The Orioles won, 12 to 10.

May 25 - Jim Stroughter (32-R) of Pittsburgh pitched a 3 hit shutout at homer versus Brooklyn. He walked 4 and struck out 11. At bat, he had a hit. He is now 4-5 with a 4.13 ERA. The Pirates won, 2 to 1.
May 26 - Bill Avallone (31-R) of Dallas pitched a 4 hit shutout at home versus Oakland. He walked 1 and struck out 4. At bat, he drew a walk and scored a run. It was his 4th shutout of the season. He is the only pitcher in Baseball with more than 1. He is now 7-3 with a 1.75 ERA in 11 starts. The Eagles won, 4 to 0.
