Walkers news: Toglia named MVP of PCL American League
Michael Toglia of the St. Louis River Walkers has been named the Most Valuable Player of the American Conference of the Pacific Coast League.
In 122 games with the Memphis Redbirds, the 24-year-old Toglia batted .315 with 36 homers and 115 RBIs.
He also played pretty well when called up to the River Walkers late in the season, batting .301 in 30 games with eight homers and 16 RBIs.
