Hack Wilson seems to be a hot commodity and is being put on the untouchable list!

Jan 1st-Jan 15th

We’ve received 5 trade proposals in the first 2 weeks, Cleveland has made us 3 different offers that involve 27yr old SS Al Halt for 24 year old Hack Miller, a promising Left Fielder, and another player on our roster. The most laughable offer included 1B Dick Hobilzell…we wouldn’t trade Miller for Halt even up so all offers were rejected. Pittsburgh offered 40yr old SS Tommy Leach for the same pair of players , a very laughable offer.>>

In other news:

Chicago MR Roy G Sanders fell down a flight of stairs and dislocated his sholder and will be out for 2 months.

Jan 16-31:
Boston Braves made 3 different pitches for Hack Wilson, St Louis Browns and Cleveland also made one and Washington tried to entice us into dealing them Hoblitzell. Brooklyn sent LF Jimmy Johnston to the Browns for CF Earl L Smith>
