Walkers news: June 20 -- Des Moines 2, St. Louis 1

Record: 37-33, 3rd, 2 GB Cedar Rapids
Carson Kelly drove in both of his team's run -- including a tie-breaking single in the sixth inning which scored A.J. Pollack with the game-winner -- to help Des Moines defeat St. Louis 2-1 at LaBatt Park.
With the win. the Harvesters avoided a four-game sweep at the hands of the River Walkers.
Pollack had reached on a one-out double off St. Louis starting pitcher Danny Duffy.

Kelly lashed the fourth pitch he saw from Duffy into center field to break a 1-1 tie.
Earlier, Kelly had given Des Moines a 1-0 lead in the bottom of the fourth when he doubled off Duffy, scoring Pollack who had singled just in front of him.
The Walkers tied it in the sixth after Andrew Beninteni led off with a double off reliever Sixto Sanchez and later scored on a Tucker Barnhart sacrifice fly off Brad Boxberger.
Harvesters starting pitcher Rory Stevens threw four shutout innings, allowing just two hits.
Five relievers -- Sanchez, Boxberger, Leo Vazquez, Zach Britton and Gabriel Moya -- all went an inning apiece to close it out.
Boxberger earned his first win of the season, while Moya collected his second save.
Duffy pitched six innings, giving up a pair of runs on six hits.
