It seems like the Eagles are just toying with us and never try to score until we get a run... Chris Hagerty leads off with a liner to center for a hit. The Bullpen is woken up. Edwin Juan doubles to right center. Steve DeMuro flies out to right and Hagerty scores without a throw. 2 to 2. We walk Qian Duan intentionally. Juan steals 3rd... Top of the Seventh:
Dave Lesley lines a hit to left. With 1 out, he goes to 2nd on a wild pitch. Woody Griesbach pokes a soft hit to left and Lesley heads home....the tag is just late! Tie game: 3 to 3. That is all, though.

Bottom of the Seventh:
New Pitcher: Lou Hertzberg (30-L). He retires them in order, including Chris Hagerty!

Top of the Eighth:
We get a 2 out single from Dave Benya, but that is it.

Top of the Ninth:
After Dave Lesley pops out to 2nd, they bring in a New Pitcher: Jose Uria (25-R), their very mean closer. Tony Casarez lines a hit to center! Woody Griesbach grounds into a force out, 5-4. Eddie Thomas lines one hard to center, but Chris Hagerty runs it down...

Bottom of the Ninth:
With 1 out, Milo Robertson doubles to center. Call to the Bullpen: Barry Chapman (27-R). Tom Borden comes in to play right in a double switch. PH Jim Bakutis (27-S), who drew a 4 pitch walk from Chapman yesterday and scored the winning run, is sent up. He takes a 3-2 pitch for ball 4.... PH Dan Kaczmarek (29-R), their All-Star catcher, is next up. He flies out to center and Robertson tags up and heads to 3rd, but Barry Tucker gets the ball there first!!!
