Walkers news: July 26 -- Des Moines 2, St. Louis 1, 13 innings

Logan Warmoth's sacrifice fly with one out in the bottom of the 13th inning off St. Louis relief pitcher Phil Maton scored Cody Bellinger to give Des Moines a 2-1 win at LaBatt Park (Montreal).
Bellinger had opened the 13th with a double off Maton.

A walk to Rafael Devers and single by Austin Meadows then loaded the bases.
Maton got John Lehto to fly out to right for the first out.
Warmoth also hit the ball to River Walkers right fielder Ender Inciarte, but this time Bellinger tagged up and scored the winning run.
Des Moines had not scored since the bottom of the first when it took a 1-0 lead.
Khalil Lee led off with a single off St. Louis starting pitcher Aaron Nola.
Lee was wiped out when Nicky Lopez hit into a fielder's choice.

Lopez then stole second and scored on a double by Austin Hays.
Des Moines starting pitcher Jose Berrios took a no-hitter into the seventh inning, when Nicky Delmonico ended it with a lead-off home run to tie it.
Berrios worked seven innings, allowing the one run on one hits. He struck out seven and walked three.
Zach Britton pitched a scoreless eighth inning for the Harvesters.
Jandel Gustave (0.1 IP) and Hector Neris (0.2) combined to handle the ninth.
Jose Nicasio kept St. Louis off the board in the 10th and 11th innings.
Leo Vazquez did the same in the 12th and 13th to earn his third win of the season.
Nola lasted 7.1 innings for the Walkers, giving up the one run on eight hits.
