We were 3-1 against Sanders last year, but he pitched 3 good games against us.

Wolf had a 5 inning no decision last time out, allowing 2 runs, pitching with the flu. He is fine now.

Bottom of the First:
Mike Stout grounds out to short. Ron Nachman grounds out to the pitcher. David Aytes lines one to left center, but CF Perry Templet makes a nice running catch! 1-2-3!

Bottom of the Fourth:
Ron Nachman singles and David Ayes follows with a double to right. Billy Shiyou lines a hit to left and Nachman scores. 1 to 0, Angels. The Bullpen is put on notice. Joe Daniels takes a 3-2 pitch for ball 4 to load the bases up with no outs. Ron Lawler grounds into his second double play of the game, 4-6-3, but another run crosses the plate. 2 to 0, Angels. Larry Hardy lines a hit to right and Shiyou scores. 3 to 0, Angels. Wolf balks... We then walk Bob Duncan intentionally to get to the pitcher, who grounds out to 3rd.

Top of the Fifth:
With 1 out, Dave Benya gets our first hit of the game, a double down the right field line, but that is all we get.

Lost - 5 to 1

We scored a run in the 9th to avoid being shutout for the second straight game.

We had 4 hits and made 1 error
Los Angeles had 10 hits and made no errors

Ron Wolf (L 1-2) went 6.1 innings, allowed 5 runs, 10 hits, 4 walks (1 INT) and struck out no one. He balked.
LHP Lou Hertzberg faced 2 batters and got them both out with 1 strikeout.
RHP Don Schmidt pitched 1 inning ans struck out the side in order.

Allen Sanders (W 3-1) went 8.2 innings, gave us 1 run, 4 hits, 3 walks and struck out 2. At bat, he had a hit.

CF Perry Templet had 2 hits with a double and scored our run. C Dave Benya hit a double and drew a walk.

For the Angels, CF Ron Nachman had 3 hits, scored a run and had an RBI.
