  • Milwaukee Chiefs closer Tony Turner has been lost for the season with a torn rotator cuff.
  • Milwaukee Chiefs 1B Stevie Elia went 5-for-6 on June 13th versus the Pittsburgh Summits. He is batting .258 with 2 home runs and 14 RBI on the season.
  • Boston Colonials starter Steve Pope threw a 5-hit shutout of the Houston Buffaloes on June 13th. Pope is now 8-5 with a 3.32 ERA this season.
  • Pittsburgh SS Ron Stewart collected the 1500th hit of his career June 13th against Milwaukee. Stewart is hitting just .149 this season, the first in a number of years he does not find himself starting.

  • Houston traded LHP Rickie Gillet and 19-year-old 1B Billy Haynes to the Chicago Unions for minor league pitchers Randy Hennings and Jim Berger. Thus far this season Gillet has a 5-6 record with a 2.17 ERA.
