The SEATTLE MARINERS won their first ever World Series, defeating the Angels in six games.

The STATEN ISLAND YANKEES were eliminated after finishing in last place. They went 51-110, finishing three games behind the Dunedin Blue Jays.

Notes:

Frederick Keys 1B Danny Dwyer led the league with 78 home runs and a 1.128 OPS.

Orioles left fielder Jorge Contreras was worth 8.5 WAR, leading the league for the second straight year.

Bobby Hood had the best season of his career so far, with a .345 OBP and 3.5 WAR and just 194 strikeouts. His career WAR is now above 0 for the first time in his career, and he is rated at 3 stars.

With Trout retired, Rafael Devers of the Spokane Indians is the active home run leader. Just 36 years old, he has 603 career homers.

Kiril de Loera's late career resurgence continued as he posted a 2.27 ERA while leading the league in innings for the fourth time. He has walked exactly 22 batters three seasons in a row. The season prior, he walked 23.

de Loera's teammate Josh Brett led the league with a 2.21 ERA.

The Tacoma Rainiers were the best MiLB team, winning 105 games and finishing in 7th place.

The Pittsburgh Pirates were the worst MLB team, going 72-89 and finishing in 122nd place.
