The
New York Islanders have had the promise of greatness for a few years now. They drafted several high end stars, who have entered the lineup in recent seasons. The team has lived up to the hype in the regular season, but have failed in the playoffs year after year. Lets take a look at their squad.
Maybe the
Islanders problem is depth. They don't have a ton of depth. After their top 5, the pickings get slim. They don't match up well against good teams 2nd, 3rd, and 4th lines. That might put too much pressure on the big boys to beat good teams?
On the other side of the spectrum, the worst team in NHL history, the
Mighty Ducks are back and looking to improve on their 2 win season. Here is a look at what makes them so bad.
Other then
Eric Lindros, there is nothing there other teams would have to gameplan for. You attack
Eric, and slow him down, you win.
Lindros isn't getting any help, and it's hurt his development.
