Star Ratings - How to Properly Judge?

Questions regarding star levels...

1. Players' overall rating is shown between 1 to 5 stars, while players' current/potential ability ranges from 0-8 (as seen in the filter search). What does a player with 6.0 CA equal to in terms of stars? how about a 3.0 CA?

2. Here's how I evaluate players based on their stars levels at the NHL level, please let me know if this is correct:

5* - Superstar
4* - Star
3* - Core player
2.5* - Regular player (everyday NHLer)
2.0* - Depth player (Not everyday NHLer)
1.5* and below - Fringe/Don't belong in the NHL.
