Halton Hills 18 year old C: Santeri Virtanen has made it clear he isn't happy with the ice time provided on the team, nor does he enjoy his time with the club. GM Terence Baker has for a month been trying to ship him out and finally has done so.

Halton Hills Trades:
29, LD, Jason Demers (GP:38, G:2, A:5, PTS:7, PIM:12, +/-:11)
18, C, Santeri Virtanen (GP:2, G:0, A:0, PTS:0, PIM:0, +/-:0)
to the LA Kings, in exchange for:

25, LD, Derek Forbort (GP:34, G:3, A:6, PTS:9, PIM:20, +/-:-14)
GM Terence Baker didn't have anything to say, but sources has said that he did have a hard time making this decision with losing Demers.

Overall Forbort is as good of player as Demers and is 4 years younger in retrospect's. The big thing about this trade was Terence was able to get Santeri out of the organization to maybe get some more ice time opportunity over with the struggling LA Kings. (W:16 L:18 OTL:4 PTS:36 DIV:5th CONF:10th)
