Regular Season | Sept - Nov 2017| Outlook:

Players
(+) Kovalchuk continues to be an offensive threat to any team he faces. He currently has 23 points in 25 games played this season and doesn't look to be slowing down too much. His leadership has also shown on the ice and in the locker-room as teammates have been praising him. They all look up to him and are performing to the same level.
(+) 26 yr old Cody Eakin seems to be on pace for his best season since his 2014/2015 season with the Dallas stars which happen to be his first season in the NHL collecting 40 pts in 78 games. The 2015/2016 season and 2016/2017 season he played in all 82 games of the seasons, but declined in production. Ending each season with 35pts and 26pts in those outings. Currently he has collected 16 points in 23 games. (10 Goals, 6 Assists). If Eakin can keep up this production, we could see a 50pt season out of him by the end of the year.
(+) Jason Demers and Adam Larsson continue to be the top defense Adam Oates looks to. Combined they have a +/- of 28 (Demers 15, Larsson 13). Michael Stone and Marco Scandella are also looked upon at times as they hold the most minutes per game.
(-) A lot of changes in rankings throughout this month that resulted in dropping in the league standings. Biggest being the Offensive production and PK%. We need to rally back and find out what will work to keep our position.
(Overall) 2 months down, still keeping pace for a playoff berth. Our rivals "The Golden Knights" currently have taken full control of the conference and are first in their division. Our first meeting with them will be Jan.7th.2018 so we must be prepared and ready for them to take the first game against them.

Goalies
(+) Steve Mason bounced back this past month holding now a record of 10-6-2 with a GAA of 2.76 and SV% of .912. He also added 2 shut out victories to his season. Mason's perfect timing for this month has kept the Elite Bulldogs in a playoff spot, but still is early in the season. Steve will need to continue his play to help his team secure a spot in the upcoming months.
(+) Al Montoya went 1-2 this stretch but the loses aren't on him as he performed great in all his outings securing his GAA of 2.00 and rising his SV% to .925. This is a great situation as we know the staff are behind both these guys.
(Overall) From last month to this month, the backing of their GM and Coaches, the goalies continue to be the backbone of this team. Steve Manson's got a groove going now and improved his performances this last much greatly, and Montoya keeps being the reliable backup goalie they need.
