Des Moines starting pitcher Eduardo Rodriguez tossed seven innings of one-hit shutout baseball to lead the Harvesters to a 6-2 win and help them salvage the finale of a four-game series at LaBlatt Stadium.
Rodriguez allowed just two baserunners. Nicky Delmonico singled with two outs in the second inning and St. Louis pitcher Jacob de Grom reached on an error by second baseman Kolten Wong in the third.
Rodriguez struck out seven batters and walked none.
It was a rough outing for deGrom, who allowed three runs in five innings.
Austin Hays made it 1-0 with a home run in the second inning.
A.J. Pollock had a two-out RBI double in the fifth. The next batter, Wong, plated another run with a single.
A two-run single from Rafael Devers off Jerry Blevins highlighted a three-run eighth for Des Moines.
St. Louis got on the board with two in ninth off Blaine Boyer.
