6/1/1912 - Our depth is being tested
For the month the Cards went 18-12, which got us back into the race and we now sit just 2 games outside of first place. There are four teams bunched at the top, so things won't be easy.
We've also seen our fair share of injuries this season, especially in the outfield and rotation. Doug Fister is the second starting pitcher out with an injury, and will miss the next four months. Both Mookie Wilson, our starting centerfielder, and Don Bosch, his backup were injured.
For now our depth is definitely being tested, but hopefully we have a strong enough team to hang on despite our injuries.
