Losing is never acceptable, but the Tampa Bay Lightning won the Stanley Cup and surprisingly, my Sabres gave them as tough a test as possible...7 games.

I'm proud of this team. The playoffs in year 2 of tenure, and we took the eventual Stanley Cup champs to the brink.

I'm hesitant to admit...we are ahead of schedule.
