Great article that barely scratches the surface of the greatness that the Global Baseball Consortium leagues, including the MBWBA, bring to the baseball world. I've been part of this since 1996, having come and gone a few times over the years, and have met owners who I now consider friends even though we've never actually met. May I add that Recte is an outstanding commissioner, and I'm looking forward to playing in leagues he leads for many years to come.
Oh, and losing Aguilar was a crying shame. Nobody should have to go out like that, let alone a guy who is going to be an all-time great.
