April 9 - 2B Jim Holberton (23-L) of Sacramento hit 2 3-run home runs at home versus Dallas. The Solons won, 8 to 6.
April 11 - LF Brian Mosca (28-L) of San Diego hit 2 home runs at Denver, drew a walk and had 5 RBI. The Padres won, 7 to 2, their first win of the season after dropping their first 8 games.
April 11 - Keith White (25-R) of Atlanta pitched a 2 hit shutout at home versus New York. He walked 2 and struck out 8. It is his 2nd straight shutout to start the season, His 1st was a 3 hitter.
April 11 - Carlos Sandoval (25-L) of Detroit pitched a 3 hit shutout at home versus Baltimore. He walked 4 and struck out 7.
April 12 - 1B Luis Hernandez (32-R) of Seattle, the ex-Beaver, went 4 for 4 with 2 home runs, including a Grand Slam, drew a walk, scored 3 runs and had 5 RBI at Kansas City.
