We are in Hollywood to play the Stars the final 3 games of the season. They just lost 3 of 4 here to Seattle. We are 4-7 against them on the season and split 2 games with them the last time we were here, August 5-6. We need to win 2 of 3 to finish the season at .500. The Stars are 3rd in the PCL in scoring with 4.52 runs per game (Portland is 6th with 4.30). They have only hit 95 HR, but lead the League now with a .280 BA and .341 OBP. They are tied for 11th in fewest runs allowed with 4.48 per game (Portland is 6th with 4.01). Their run differential is +6 and ours is +46.

Portland Beavers (79-80 .497 25 GB tied for 4th place in the PCL West) at
Hollywood Stars (83-76 .522 21 GB in 2nd place in the PCL West)

POR: Rondey Moe (26-R 6-7 2.68) vs. HOL: Ellison Anderson (30-R 4-9 4.63)

Moe is 2-0 in his last 3 starts, allowing only 1 run in each game on only 13 hits total in 24.1 IP with 7 BB and 18 SO.

Anderson had a no decision in his one starts against us, giving us 1 run in 5.1 IP. He is 2-0 in his last 3 starts.
