By the way, CC is not in the same boat as those other malingerers that I was talking about. Sure, he could have and should have lost weight and if he had done so, he probably would have been even higher on the charts than where he ended up.
Yet, I get a different feeling about him. The injuries that he suffered were not the silly things that other players get just by stretching. And when he was sidelined, he battled his way back to the mound as soon as possible.
