Exclamation Variances in star ratings, same player

This is not limited to my online league, but as I almost entirely do online league gaming, this is where it is the most confusing.

The same player will have two different star ratings depending on whether or not you are looking at their main page (the rating that shows on the list of players, too) or their scouting page (which tends to be the most accurate assessment of your scout).

Main page:

As you can see above, this player, with no statistics, has a 1.5-star actual and 2.5 potential rating. A fair possible player.

However, if you go into the scouting report, you get a different story:

This disparity is incredibly confusing and frustrating. Are you getting a 1.5/2.5 player, or a 1/1.5 player? The difference is between a potential contributor or a fringe career minor-league player. The ACTUAL scout rating does not appear on any sortable lists, so the ONLY way to get an accurate reading of a player's potential is to go into every single player's profile and go to their scouting page. This gets old very fast and takes a lot of time.

Please let us know why in the world this is different, HOW the difference in the pages is reached (and what it means), and, if possible, fix this in the future to at least give the option to show the scout's star/ability assessment on the main page and in sortable lists.
