Colborn was perfect through three.

Maddox led off the top of the fourth with a single to break up the perfect game. The Rangers would go on to load the bases with one out. Mincher put the Rangers on the board with a sacrifice fly.

In the bottom of the fourth, Ferraro tied the game with an RBI double. An intentional walk loaded the bases with two out. Colborn then gave the Brewers the lead with a 2 run single.

In the top of the fifth, the Rangers again loaded the bases with one out. Harrah brought Biittner home with a sacrifice fly.

In the bottom of the fifth, the Brewers loaded the bases with one out. Porter beat out the 3-6-3 to bring in a run.

Jim Panther took the mound for the Rangers in the bottom of the seventh. Briggs got an RBI single.

In the bottom of the eighth, with a runner on first and one out, Casey Cox took the mound for the Rangers. May hit a 2 RBI double. Porter added a 3 run homer.

The Brewers out hit the Rangers 14-4.
