Not as big as against the Orioles, but once again the Rangers are the underdogs.

We have an early pitcher's duel going on. Stanhouse was perfect through three.

After three: Milwaukee 0 Texas 0.

The Brewers got their first hit of the game in the fourth inning. And then Briggs hit a two run homer.

The Brewers loaded the bases in the sixth. Heise got an RBI single and Conigliaro followed with a sac fly RBI.

Ted Kubiak stole his first base of the year in the bottom of the sixth but was stranded at third as the Rangers scoreless streak reached 20 innings.

After six: Milwaukee 4 Texas 0.

Horacio Pina was brought in to pitch the seventh. Theobald knocked in a run with a single.

Mike Paul then pitched the ninth for Texas. The Brewers put runners on the corners with two out and the Rangers brought in Paul Lindblad to pitch and he gave up an RBI single to Rodriguez.

Meanwhile, Lockwood would get the complete game shutout.

Final score: Milwaukee 6 Texas 0.
