Walkers news: May 24 -- St. Louis 10, Quad City 4

Record: 22-21, 4th, 2.5 GB Springfield
Tied 4-4, St. Louis exploded for six runs in the bottom of the seventh inning to carry it to a 10-4 win over Quad City at Busch Stadium (1997).
With the victory, the River Walkers took the final two games of the three-game series.
The Thunder had tied the game at 4-4 in the top of the sixth inning against Walkers starting pitcher Adonis Medina.
It all happened with two outs, as Duke Kinamon singled and he scored when Carter Kieboom followed with a double.
Larry Ernesto got things rolling in the seventh for the Walkers with a one-out walk from reliever Brenan Hanifee.
Ernesto stole second and scored when pinch-hitter Edmond Americaan singled.
Thad Ward took over the mound duties, and didn't fare well.
He hit Bo Bichette with a pitch and Carlos Vidal followed with a single which scored Americaan.
A two-out walk to Andrew Benintendi then loaded the bases.
Fernando Tatis Jr. then cleared them and nmore with a grand slam.
Medina lasted 5.2 innings, allowing four runs on nine hits. He struck out four and walked two.
Tim Hill (2-1) finished the sixth and worked a scoreless seventh.
John Curtiss and Danny Grigg handled the eighth and ninth, respectively.
