Walkers news:May 20 -- St.Louis 8, Kansas City 2

Record: 20-20, 4th, 2.5 GB Springfield
Down 1-0,Rhys Hoskins put St. Louis in the lead with a two-run homer in the bottom of the fourth inning and the River Walkers added five more runs in the next inning to send them to an 8-2 win over Kansas City at Busch Stadium (1997).
The victory allowed the Walkers to salvage the finale of the three-game series.
Carlos Vidal had drawn a lead-off walk from Pit Masters reliever Nick Goody to open the bottom of the fourth.
Archie Bradley then replaced Goody and the fifth pitch he threw to Hoskins was smacked 414 feet over the wall in left-center to put St. Louis in front.
Kansas City starting pitcher Jo Jo Romero had departed after two innings with a finger blister forcing the Masters to turn to their bullpen early.
Romero is expected to be out for two weeks.
The Walkers bludgeoned the K.C. bullpen in the fifth.
However, it got started when pitcher Tanner Bibee was hit by a Noah Murdock pitch to leadoff the inning.
Bo Bichette followed with a single and Carlos Vidal scored them both with a double.
Johan Camargo drove in the inning's third run with a single off Kyle Nelson.
Jared Thomas plated the final two with a double off Austin Hansen.
Replacing the injured Jimmy Lambert in the St. Louis rotation, Bibee turned in a third straight strong start.
He worked into the seventh inning, allowing two runs on nine hits in 6.2 innings. He struck out eight and walked one.
Rookie Justin Roberts got the final out of the seventh.
Danny Grigg retired six in a row to breeze through the eighth and ninth.
