Notes on Interleague, All-Star Game, and Offdays.

Interleague play will take place in one series on a mid-May weekend, on the 4 weekday periods immediately before the All-Star Break, and on the Fri-Sun period immediately before and immediately after the All-Star Break, which will last from Mon-Thur for all teams with the ASG on a Tuesday in mid-July. By "weekday period" I mean either Mon-Wed or Tue-Thur, depending on how the rest of the schedule fits in. Because there are 7 interleague periods and only 6 interleague series for most teams, some teams will have each period in league play. Fri-Mon league series before Tue-Thur interleague series are allowed, unlike in the real MLB.

Offdays are permitted in between the first and second games for the first 3 weekday series for each team not covered by the "Opening Day" rule described at the top of this request. That is, if the schedule starts March 31, the April 8-11, 15-18, and 22-25 periods are allowed for NL Central teams' in-series offdays, and April 1-4, 8-11, and 15-18 for other teams. The only offday on April 23 will be in between two games of an NL Central series; otherwise offdays are only Mondays, Thursdays, the All-Star Break, and the Tuesdays in the periods listed above.
