I think both LV and Seattle will work as markets.
The NHL still has some trouble markets in Charlotte, Miami and Phoenix.
IMO the biggest hurdle will be getting back to a good TV deal. Unless you watch a local feed or are a hardcore fan and have league pass or whatever the NHL calls it, then it’s still too hard to find games that are of national importance.
Maybe it’s my youth telling me what was good but I do remember getting exciting for ESPN hockey night in Canada and their 2-3 national games of the week.
If you did not follow a certain team it was a great way to keep up with the league.
Compare it to the NBA where with basic cable (I think most packages have NBA TV now) you along with that, ABC, ESPN and Turner can watch 6-10 national games a week depending on the time of year.
