Today, the Rangers try to complete their first ever three game sweep of a road series as they visit the Milwaukee Brewers. The Rangers have won four of their last five. The Brewers have lost six of their last seven. This is the only game on the schedule in all of MLB today.

Texas Rangers LF Jeff Burroughs is expected to miss at least one more week due to his sprained ankle.

In the bottom of the second, Conigliaro hit a solo home run. Auerbach added an RBI single.

In the top of the third, Nelson beat out the 4-6-3, allowing Kubiak to score from third.

In the bottom of the third, the Brewers loaded the bases with one out. Lahoud flew to left for the second out. Porter then scored on a wild pitch. Conigliaro walked to load the bases with two out. Heise singled to score one and then a throwing error on the play by Maddox brought another run home.

After three: Milwaukee 5 Texas 1.

In the bottom of the fifth, with a runner on first and one out, Casey Cox took the mound for the Rangers.

After six: Milwaukee 5 Texas 1.

In the bottom of the seventh, Jim Panther took the mound for the Rangers. Lahoud scored on a Lockwood grounder to second. Auerbach followed with an RBI single.

The Brewers tallied 10 hits in the contest while the Rangers committed 3 errors.

Final score: Milwaukee 7 Texas 1.
