Calling Christopher LeRoux a 'journeyman' would be an exaggeration. The 35 year old from Cilaos, Martinique didn't even reach the FBL until three years ago, age 32. He pitched a total of 4 games. Next season, 1970, he worked 12.1 IP with a 1.86 WHIP.
Here we are in 1971 and LeRoux gets the nod against Cap Chevalier in Le Morne Rouge, the second career start for Christopher. He completely dominates the Waves, pitches a CG, allows 3 walks, 0 hits, and ends up with a no-hitter and 4-0 win.
