I add some players on September 1 to bolster the roster. After the season ended, I needed to get my roster down to 25 for the playoffs. When I tried to move the Sept. 1 call-ups (not eligible for playoffs in real life) back to the minors, I was told players had to pass through waivers.

I had to release players to get to the 25-man roster and was stuck with some players I did not want to play in the post-season, but that I wanted to keep for the following season.

Any ideas?
