Nicky Lopez led off the game with a home run and Rory Stevens allowed one run over six innings as Des Moines won 3-1 over St. Louis at Busch Stadium (1997).
The lone run allowed by Stevens came in the fourth inning when Andrew Benintendi tripled and scored on a Rhys Hoskins single.
The Harvesters had gone up 2-0 in the top of the fourth when Kahlil Lee drew a one-out walk from River Walkers starting pitcher Aaron Nola.
Lee stole second and went to third on a throwing error by J.T. Realmuto.
A Nola wild pitch allowed Lee to score.
Stevens allowed the one run on four hits in his six innings. He struck out five and walked none.
Leo Vazquez kept St. Louis off the board in the seventh and eighth.
A 1-2-3 ninth earned save No. 6 for Jandel Gustave.
