1913 Top Players Under Age 30

Devon McFadden, RHP
The 5th overall pick in 1905 out of Teutopolis, Illinois. He won the Pitcher of the Year Award in 1911 and has been to three all-star teams. He finished 2nd this past year in the Pitcher of the Year.

Jack Dulude, SS
Dulude was a 3rd round pick by the Dodgers in 1906 out of Santa Clara. His bat is average to above average, but his defense at SS is elite, adding a lot to his value.

Cole Dins, SS
Dins has elite SS defense as well and a good bat too. He has made three all-star teams, won two gold gloves, and was part of the Astros 1910 World Series team. He was the 53rd pick in the 1906 draft out of Cypress High School.

Smack Housand, 3B
Smack was a New York high school product, drafted 9th overall in 1904. He has made the all-star team twice, won a gold glove, and a silver slugger.

Alec Bagby, 2B
A 3-time gold glover at 2B, 1907 Rookie of the Year, an all-star, and MLB champion. He was drafted 35th overall in 1906 from Kentucky.

Benny Wurdeman, SS
Wurdeman was an all-star in 1910 and capped the season off by winning the MVP award. He also has elite SS defense with an average bat, leading to above average production. He was the 44th overall pick in 1904 out of College Station High School.
