Johnson had a no-hitter through three.

In the top of the fourth, Melton broke the scoreless tie with a two run homer.

With two out in the bottom of the fourth, Alex Johnson singled to give the Rangers their first hit of the game.

In the bottom of the fifth, the Rangers loaded the bases with two out. Carty lined out to center to end the inning.

In the bottom of the sixth, Sudakis tied the game with a two run homer.

After six: Chicago 2 Texas 2.

Steve Foucault took the mound for the Rangers in the top of the eighth.

Cy Acosta took the mound for the White Sox in the bottom of the eighth. Sudakis put the Rangers in the lead with an RBI single. The Rangers went on to load the bases with one out. Burroughs grounded into the inning ending 6-2-3.

In the top of the ninth, with runners at first and second and one out, Mike Paul took the mound for the Rangers. With runners at first and second and two out, Reichardt flew out to left to end the game.

The White Sox were held to just three hits and committed three errors in the contest.

Final score: Texas 3 Chicago 2.
