Speaking of the minors, the set start date for the full season leagues is the first Thursday on or after April 3, which doesn't line up with the majors. Ignoring the Australia Opening Series issue for a moment, in years where April 1 is a Monday or Tuesday, the full-season minors would start two days before the majors do. The first such year is 2019, followed by 2024 and 2025.

My assumption to how this error was made is that the devs looked at this year's schedule, saw it began on Thursday April 3, and put that in the quickstart. The obvious problem is the way this ties into the calendar: in year 2 of all quickstarts that do this, the season begins a week later than it did in year 1, i.e. April 9. The exact same error was made last year.

EDIT: More minor league weirdness, the short-season leagues don't line up with each other as well as they should. In the quickstart, the NY-Penn League starts a week late compared to the other short-season leagues if June 12 is a Thursday, which happens to be the case in 2014.
