Before the patch offensive numbers were way too high to the point of being ridiculous. I just downloaded the patch and simmed 3 seasons and I am getting good results based on the year I have chosen (1978).

Thanks. I have started a league in 1947 using 1978 as the historical year for stats (not using neutral stats, just real ones), random debut players from 1914 to 1964. Drafts subsequently will players from later eras.
I agree, it seems fixed, ratings are normal as far as I can tell. Looks good.
