Interesting, I did a Historical replay several years ago and the Pirates didn't make the post season in 1969 or 1970, made it in 1971 and lost to the Giants.
Just a quick glance of how the Pirates starting pitching is looking in the SIM vs Real life in 1969

Steve Blass 9-8 3.21 (16-10 4.46)
Luke Walker 5-3 4.75 (4-6 3.64)
Jim Bunning 13-6 2.66 (10-9 3.81)
Bob Veale 14-6 3.05 (13-14 3.23)
Bob Moose 9-2 1.36 (14-3 2.91)
Moose had 19 starts in RL and has 11 so far in the SIM so he has a few left. Walker had 15 starts in RL and he has just 6 so far, so we will be seeing more of him
